Ticket Piles

Search Jira issues, drop them on a freeform canvas, and group nearby cards into named piles.

Arrange Jira work on a freeform canvas instead of a rigid board. Search issues, drop cards where they belong, and group nearby cards into named piles. Each person gets their own board. Issue data stays live from Jira; your layout is saved in Forge.

What you can do

Think in groups, not columns

Ticket Piles is for people who think in groups, not columns. Jira boards and lists force work into a fixed structure. Ticket Piles gives you an infinite canvas instead.

01

Spatial canvas

Place Jira issues anywhere on an infinite canvas. Pan, zoom, and arrange work the way you actually think about it — not in a rigid board.

Search issues and drop them anywhere on the canvas. Cards stay where you put them — pan, zoom, and rearrange freely.

02

Search and add

Type a key or keyword. Results show status and whether the issue is already on the canvas. Add one ticket or several without leaving the board.

Search and add matching issues. A checkmark means that card is already on the canvas.

03

Add by filter

Drop a saved Jira filter onto the canvas in one click. Favourites like Assigned to me or Current sprint become cards you can pile and arrange.

Open Add by filter and pick a favourite. Matching issues land on the canvas so you can group them into piles.

Overview

Ticket Piles is a personal spatial board for Jira

Search issues, drop them on an infinite canvas, and group nearby cards into named piles. Arrange work the way you think about it — not in a rigid board.

You can also drop a favourite Jira filter onto the canvas. Filter piles reload from Jira when you open the app, so saved queries stay current.

Each signed-in user has their own board. The app never writes to Jira: it does not transition issues, add comments, or change fields. Issue details are fetched live. Only layout is stored — issue keys, positions, pile names, notes, and UI preferences — keyed by your Atlassian account ID in Forge storage on your site. Nothing is sent to a separate server.

Ticket Piles runs entirely on Atlassian Forge.
